The owner's passion for preserving the building's heritage while adding modern comforts was palpable. The charming garden was perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine, making our evenings truly magical.Walking distance to Trujillo's historic sites made sightseeing a breeze, and the nearby cafe/bar added a local touch to our stay. The personal touch from the owner, who welcomed us with a smile despite our late arrival, made us feel right at home. Our room, adorned with unique paintings, was a cozy retreat after a day of exploration.The hotel's location near the castle of the Caliph of Córdoba and other notable cities like Mérida and Guadalupe allowed us to delve into Extremadura's rich culture and history. The staff's assistance in arranging tours enhanced our experience, showcasing the best of the region. Definitely a gem for travelers seeking a blend of history, comfort, and warm hospitality.
